As the Associate Director, Kendra manages the Family Center’s programming initiatives and serves as the membership coordinator. In addition, she manages the center’s communications and maintains our social media accounts. Kendra is a licensed social worker and brings a feminist, social justice framework to her work. Prior to this position Kendra worked as the HCV/HIV linkage coordinator at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Pennsylvania, earning her masters in social work as well as her bachelor’s degree in public health. She is originally from Trinidad and Tobago and Philadelphia summers are her favorite time of the year. Kendra is committed to making the Family Resource Center a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse space on campus where students and postdocs with children can feel at home.
