Serving as the Associate Director, Christina Rodriguez (she/her/ella) manages communications and develops programming for the Family Resource Center at Penn. Christina is a passionate and spiritually-led Educator native to Philadelphia, and is driven to cultivate a sense of community within and beyond the Family Center. With a community-centered approach, she actively supports and commits time to families, and any visitors, in the Center. She enjoys leading the student team of “Family Fellows”, whose professional development experience is framed by a holistic philosophy of education.
Additionally, Christina "fills her cup" by volunteering with professional organizations that center women of color and justice in education. As a certified Trauma-Competent Professional, she supports students, staff, and faculty through workshops and conversations focused on healing and growth in community.
